Life thus far...

Okay, it's november right? It feels like it's august outside. Oh how I wish it where colder! :(
Anyway, I've been living with Shana for about 2 weeks now. It's been prettyb swell thus far. I still have to unpack a couple of boxes and get cable in my room but outside of that everything has been pretty dandy! I'm closer to my friends that I have missed sooo much! And I think I feel alot happier here. The only real downside is I work litterally every day of the effing week besides sunday, so that's when Nick and I try and make plans to see eachother.
I really gotta get around to signing up at BC, but there is just so much to do! I'm still trying to get settled and communication with my mom is hard since she works in the day and I work at night. I really don't want to miss out on college this semester. And I really want to go to Disney college in the Spring.
Speaking of Disney! I got a free ticket to go on my birthday! YAYYYY!!!
Now it's trying to find someone who can go with me. I know it sucks. I'm born in mid december where everyone is spending money on everyone else for christmas and my birthday's on a monday this year :( I hope someone will be able to go with me.
It IS november right???

New job, New home, new life.

So it's been a trek recently getting things done. I quit Panera to start looking for another job to where I'm moving. I luckily had a lot of opprotunities and I can happily say I am a new Employee and JOANNE FABRICS! :DDD
SO yeah guise, I can already hear you whoring me for discounts! lol <333
I've been packing up my stuff and constantly running out of either boxes or packing tape lol. Most of my stuff is already in a box accept for my clothes. I'll be moving more of my stuff in this weeked (I.E. my actual furniture) I'm contemplating as to whether I should mov Oliver in sooner then I thought.... but then again maybe it would be best for him to be with me until I finally leave. He's such a mama's boy XD
The area is really nice. I like that everything is pretty easy to find and everyone seems really cheery. I'll aslo be around more of my friends so it will keep me from feeling less sad. Nick and I want to be adults about all of this. I know we;ll be able to see eachother on our days off and even when we go out on trips together. But I know it will be a little hard at first.
I'm looking forward to starting over. :)

Supercon

So the con was pretty fun. Smaller then what I exspected but I still managed to have fun. Too much DOA stuff lol. I was really happy to hear that I ended up winning best journeyman for my Ariel (Yay! :3) and that mostly all of my friends won something! :)
Of course the impending dramu is insueing. Just from people that have no idea what they are talking about. I can't help but wonder why this hobby is surrounded by drama. I mean there are plenty of people who are truly nice and genuine but constantly there is always someone to ruin it by spreading rumors and lies just to make themselves feel better. It makes me not want to pay too much attention the the media circle surrounding cosplay....and just cosplay! lol
Now it's back to normla life. My next con is Megacon.
I wish the real world was a little happier too :/

Yeah so I really don't want this to be a "omgmylifesucksi'm soyoung and idon't knowwhattodoBAWWWW" post, but you know I've been feeling it lately.
The recent money problems I ran into with 500$ in over draft fees has been affecting me pretty bad. I found another bank but man I tell you I don't think I've ever felt this pressure before! I get paid from both jobs wednesday thankfully, but I gotta get a new checking account by thursday to pay for my car insurance... and then my stupid gym memebership which I'm quiting.... and the my phone bill.... I'll be okay, I know it! My parents have been insisting I move back in with them, but I really feel like I'll be okay living at Bunny's place.
I mean, hey, I know my limits. I know when enough is enough.But I really don't think I'm at a breaking point yet. To be honest with you, I think I've just begun. I really hope I can make it. I don't want to be sheltered. I want to be independant and feel good about it. Yeah, I'd love to be a kid again, but you know what I also want the freedom that someone my age can finally have.
So yeah, that's enough venting on that little subject :)
Now to move onto "Allidoistalkaboutcosplayjelousefattysan
I'm really excited for supercon this week! I get to hang out with some great friends and have fun with some good ol' DOA action! I finally finished Ariel...But I am so nervous about her! I mean in my eyes I dont think it looks terrible, but I'm afriad of going into judgeing and feeling like "what the hell am I thinking!" XD
I'm hopinh everything will make up from itself just from me doing a Disney character. I love Disney <3333
I would also love the chance to wear my new Silk Spectre II costume. Though I admit I cheated. I bought it lol. But I only want to wear it for fun, no other reason. It's really supposed to be my halloween costume.
I can't wait to see everyone. I miss chuuuuuu!!! :(

Cosplay work day is work!

Okay, so I took care of some little errands this morning and then came home for sewing!
Ariel is about 60% done. I'm almost done putting sequins on the top and then I will finish beading and bedazzling it today. My goal is to sew together the gown and hopfully get everything at least 80% done.
My maid outfit is coming along quite smoothly. The base of the outfit is finished and so is the apron. Just have to attach trimming and then it's finished! :D
And my one commisioned outfit that I have to make is really easy... but I'm so lazy! I can most likely get it finished within the next too days. I also have to make Nana's maid outfit... I hope I can scavange enough fabric.
Tomorrow 'll be going to Shana's! Right after my work's party with Karaoke lol

Poopgirl strikes again!

lol hey guysss! So yea, havn't posted in awhile but I figured why not start again? :)
So I've been trying my hardest to work on my new Ariel costume while I'm working two jobs. Yep! I'm a sandwhich lady at Panera and a cashier at a comic book store! :D

So after much computer trouble and many over night rehersal at school for my show, I finally have the chance to post again! :D
Please tell me! How are you all doing? I havn't heard from any of you in so long!
Cosplay for me has slowed down quite some bit due to school, but after I graduate, Kellie and Temprest and I will be back on the map for cons :)
We are planning and very happy with what we want to put together. We can't wait to see you all again!

Okay, so I know some of you wanted to know how it went:
AMAZING!
I had an amazing time with my friends and boyfriend. It was seriously a great exsperience that I've had. If you guys have my myspace I have photos up. :)
Mark, Nana and Heather and I rode there in Heather's dad's Mercedes and met with Sophie and Jacob when we got there. The room was so cutely decorated accoding to the Willy Wonka theme. We where all chowing down on that candy all over the table we sat at. lol!
The food was absolutely amazing! Bet 55$ food I've ever tasted!
The dance portain was fun. Thouh at one point I felt like an effing idiot when spanish music started playing and my spanish boyfriend can dance yet my white ass can't -___-
He laughed it off though saying I was cute. <3
And slow songs where really romantic!
We stayed until about 11:00 and then we allwent to Flicker Light (a resturant on the beach that Jacob and Sophie work at) It was chill. Jacob and Mark played pool and us girls sat and chatted while chowing down on calamarie and mazzorella.
Then when an hour passed we all got into our cars to go home.
But all the way as Heather drove the car, I had the BEST makeout session with Mark. That kid is somthing special!
It was really funny too because once we droe up to my house him and I where still going at it in the backseat and Heather's like, "Can you guys bear to seperate yourselves from eachother or do I have to get the jaws of life back there?" and while we're kissin he's like, "give us a second!" XD
So yeah, had a FAMAZING weekend!

Long story short, I didn't get to ask Ryan. Because I realized in the cruelest way possible that he dosn't like girls like me; only blonde skinny bitches.
So my singing partner Mark asked me. He was really sweet about it and I figured we could just go as friends, it dosn't need to be anything romantic.
And I KNOW pantsuu is gonna wanna see what he looks like so ths is him. It's only a few months old but it's pretty much the same.
So yeah, I'm going to get my dress soon. I'll post pics when I get it!

Yesterday I went to Shana's with Andrea, Bri, and Katie. It was really fun! Shana helped me with air brushing my corpse bride and it looks great! She's so amazing for helping me. I really appreciated the help.
I also would like to announce that the Lauren dance was invented yesterday. I needed all three of them to help me out of my dress, getting stuck in it, and having my arms wailing about as I thrashed through the shower curtain and bathroom walls. Yeah, happy day.
Today I plan to work like a mother and try my best to finish up my Corpse Bride, with the exception of the airburhsing left on my veil that I'l be getting done come two weeks when I go back to Shana's.
I'll try to post of photos of my progress at the end of the day! ^.^

So Faith isn't the only one with sister dramu. My older sister Keri (who lives in Savannah Georgia) apparently has a stalker. A no-joke stalker! This guy leaves notes on her door that say "I'm always watching you through your window" or insuates things like, "I likethat red blouse you wore today"
Whats worse, the guy lives directly across the street from her. I don't know what's going on!
That and my step dad should be admited into a mental fascility for a couple of days. On thursday he walks out on my mom at dinner (a crap and lobster dinner that she worked really hard on) because I made him mad after telling him to leave me alone because I was tired. This inturn made my mom cry and get all emotional.
Then yesterday he fuckin blows up on me for no reason and I had no choice but to leave the house and go to Temps. Even after he appalogized a thousond times I was like "Whatever, ok"
He is really becomming incredibly annoying. I wish I didn't have to live here.

Homecomming Queen: Start!

Okay, so thanks to the amazing Faith, I've thought of a couple of doo-hickies to help me run for Homecomming Queen at my school this year:
For favoring other seniors to vote for me, I will buy a big bag of Dum Dum lolipops. And on each one they'll have a little ribbon that'll say, "Don't be a DumDum, vote for Lauren" XD
Next, for the posters I have to put up, I will have Chuck Norris Jokes as the headliner but I will replace his name with mine. Like, "Lauren's tears can cure cancer, To bas she dosn't cry!" or "Lauren has a third fist in her purse, vote for her!" I love it! lol I'm gonna get a whole bunch of jokes and really make them awsome.

My only issue is I don't have many pretty photos of myself to put on my posters ('cept for my cosplay ones)
I don't know I may have to get a willing friend to help me camera whore.
